How do I book a commission?

The Homepage will state clearly when I am open to taking quotes for a commission slot, and notification will also be provided through social media channels or e-mail. I will not provide quotes outside of the specified quotation period.

When will my commission be completed?

On acceptance of a quote, your commission will be placed in a work queue. A Trello page indicating the progress of the work queue will be maintained for all current customers.

Completion dates will be estimated and I will not be willing to rush work, or guarantee delivery for a particular date or event.

What happens if I want to cancel my commission?

A commission can be cancelled at any time but please be aware that the deposit is non-refundable. If the costume has been partially built when the cancellation is made it will be modified and re-sold.

I also reserve the right to cancel a commission at any stage if the customer becomes unresponsive, unreasonable or threatening, or if payment deadlines are not being met.

Can I provide you with my own materials to use in the construction?

To ensure that the correct qualities and quantities of materials are used in the construction, I would prefer to source these myself to ensure a high quality end product.

Can I commission a copyrighted character?

I cannot create a character design under copywrite to anyone other than yourself.

If you have a design that is similar to a protected character (eg. a fanart style original character design) I may be able to accommodate if I feel the design does not majorly infringe on the protected design, and I encourage you to submit a quote form but be aware I may not be able to offer a commission slot on these grounds.
